WorkNC G3 offers ‘Help’ images and text information for each toolpath, and provides users with several efficient methods of creating a toolpath.

The ‘Custom Toopath’ tab displays the toolpaths commonly used and enables direct selection.WorkNC G3 helps you to program your toolpaths faster, with toolpaths created directly from a surface selection.

A new type of CAM surface known as 'optional surface’ allows users to add new geometries without having to recalculate the toolpath already created.

Once the surfaces have been transformed into CAM surfaces these are displayed with a transparency allowing them to be identified from other CAM surfaces.

Toolpath editing functions are a key feature in WorkNC.  They allow users to make last minute changes to toolpaths and should therefore be as user friendly as possible. For this reason, WorkNC G3 now offers smart, simple functionality which automatically adapts according to the options selected (Zones, Passes, Levels, Polygons).

In WorkNC G3 all CAM entities are managed and and their use dynamically controlled and secured. When CAM entities are displayed in red in the Workzone Manager it indicates that the entity is used in toolpaths and shows the user which ones are involved. The reliability of WorkNC G3’s machining management becomes apparent if you try to delete one of these entities - in this case the system automatically informs the user that this entity is already used.
