>Auto 5 and 5 axis




New Easy to use Auto 5 Interface/Strategy



WorkNC G3 introduces a new 'Auto 5' interface completely integrated with WorkNC G3 and the WorkZone Manager.

Direct pre-visualization of conversion strategies, multi-edit, tab navigation.

A New Surface Guide Strategy has been added which is very efficient for machining parts with multi curved surfaces such as bumpers.


Simplified WorkNC 5 axis parametering



5 axis toolpath programming has been simplified for greater coherence with 3 axis strategies.

As a result with this, the '5 axis options' sub-menu has disappeared and stock allowances are directly associated to surfaces to be machined.


New 5 axis specific toolpaths



Three new 5 axis toolpaths specifically designed for blade machining are available. (Roughing, Remachining, Finishing)

These toolpaths have been developed and optimized taking into consideration production requirements to ensure smooth and fluid toolpaths resulting in high quality surface finishing. 

In addition, there is a new 5-axis toolpath allowing tangent to a curve and normal to bottom surface machining with neighboring surface contact detection.
